“This home is located on the corner of Amalfi and Capri,” says Gordon. “I was immediately captivated by that and came to understand that a new kind of home was waiting to emerge at this magical crossroads.”

DESIGN DETAIL

A Growers Loft

We decided to go topless for this two-story pantry. What this means: Store your dry goods on the bottom floor, then take a spiral staircase to the top where you can grow your veggies and herbs, grill your dinner and drink up the sun.

BACK STORY

Walls as Art

I wanted the wall finish to be thick and compliment the scale of the home — something masculine, strong and linear that would draw the eye either up or across. Scott Nelson from NaturalWalls miraculously crafted a tool to ‘rake’ the surface and then played with the damp cementitious material to get the organic feeling we see today.

Our new-construction, 8,600-square-foot compound has just sold for a record-breaking $18m above its original asking price of $14.8m. It’s the highest price ever sold on the Upper Riviera’s Amalfi Drive.

The home features many of our signature amenities: Expansive indoor/outdoor integration, hand-crafted furnishings and finishes, and effortless opportunities for small- and large-scale entertaining integrated throughout.
